The story of NamPang
Little Nam Pang was born on January 27, 1917. She was born in a small village, Ban Thung Chang, in the district of Thung Si Udom in the province of RATCHATANI in Siam (name of Thailand until 1939) ).
Nam Pang deepened her knowledge of the authentic Nuat Boran at the age of only 19 and had the opportunity to analyze and learn it with the great masters. Nam Pang occupied a high position in the art of Nuat Boran.
My mother showed me the first steps of Thai massage and I was able to learn a lot from her. However, due to the hard work and lack of time, my mother was forced to send me to my grandmother Nam Pang for some time at the age of eleven.
My grandmother Nam Pang took me in with great enthusiasm and took it on to perfect the skills I had learned from my mother. Until her death in November 2009, she introduced me to the art of Nuat Boran and taught me all the knowledge of authentic Nuat Boran, also known as Thai massage.
Shortly after my arrival in Switzerland, I had the idea to share the knowledge passed on by my wise grandmother Nam Pang with others.
ThaiSpaNamPang was created in memory of and as a thank you to my grandmother Nahm Pang

Ubon Ratchathani is situated on the banks of the Mun River. Ubon is the provincial capital and its history dates back two centuries, officially in 1780 when King Taksin the Great was appointed the first ruler of this region and gave the city its name.
The city was ruled by four semi-independent rulers until 1882 when a new ruler was elected and the city became part of the Kingdom of Siam. The provincial capital is 629 kilometers from Bangkok and has various plateaus and mountains that are crossed by the Mun River. The sandstone cliffs along the Mekong River serve as a natural border between Thailand and Laos.
The region where Ubon Ratchathani borders Cambodia and Laos and where the Mekong flows into Cambodia is known as the "Emerald Triangle" in recognition of the beautiful green forests that characterize this region. Ubon's natural appeal is enhanced by the Phu Chong Nayoi and Pha Taem National Parks. Both are considered to be one of Isan's most pristine and under-visited nature reserves. Ubon Rachathani is the largest of the northeastern provinces of Thailand. The main attraction of Ubon is the annual Candle Festival, a beautiful Buddhist event with a lot of charm.
